Looking for alternative plastic materials which bond well to LSR?

Question: My project includes LSR over molding onto ultem plastic parts. It has been difficult to bond the LSR (Shinetsu LSR) to ultem parts. I am looking for alternative plastic materials which bond well to LSR. I am looking for similar mechanical properties as ultem plastic. Do you have any recommendation on choosing a right plastic? Bond between LSR and plastic parts is critical.

Answer: We have had much better luck bonding silicone to polycarbonate, which has fairly similar physical properties to ultem, although the melting temperature is considerably lower, there are processing adjustments that can be made in order to accommodate for this.
